CITES : Was lifting the ban on ivory trade by CITES justified?
At its last meeting, CITES lifted the ban on ivory trade in the Southern African countries following their argument that elephant populations had shot up beyond manageable levels. Critics say CITES action is to blame for increased poaching.

Factory farming, especially for chicken is increasingly becoming common. Growth hormones are used for faster growth and fattening. Should we allow ourselves to fill our stomachs, making quick bucks, at the expense of animal welfare?

Long banned in most countries because of its implications on wildlife, sport hunting is fast making a comeback in Africa with far reaching impacts especially where there are no proper rules and guidelines. Do you think sport hunting is viable?
